Your Compassion Changes Lives

Tablelands Wildlife Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native animals. Our work is only possible because of the passionate and dedicated members of our community. Every single action makes a significant impact.

Become a Member

As a member of Tablelands Wildlife Rescue, you are directly contributing to the conservation of local wildlife. Your membership fees provide the stable funding we need for life-saving supplies and equipment. In return for your support, you will receive exclusive monthly updates on our rescue efforts, invitations to special events, and access to a future members-only portal with additional resources.

Become a Wildlife Carer

Being a wildlife carer is a deeply rewarding experience. It’s a significant commitment that involves opening your heart and home to an animal in need and providing the specialised care they require. All our carers undergo comprehensive training and receive ongoing support from our experienced team. If you are passionate about wildlife and ready to make a long-term commitment, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements: Carers must have a suitable, secure space for the animal, be available to attend training, and be able to provide the daily care required for rehabilitation.

Training: Our training program covers everything from basic first aid and feeding protocols to species-specific care.

Commitment: The time commitment varies depending on the animals in your care, but it is a consistent, daily effort.

Volunteer

There are many ways to get involved, even if you can’t commit to being a full-time carer. Every role, no matter how big or small, is essential to our operations.

Rescue Transport: Help us by picking up injured animals and transporting them to our rescue facility or a local vet.

Fundraising & Events: Help us plan and execute fundraising events to ensure we have the resources to continue our work.

Administrative Tasks: Assist with answering phones, data entry, and other crucial administrative duties.

Maintenance & Construction: Help us with the upkeep and building of animal enclosures and facilities.
